xx counties, with xx funded projects, then erased from being completely.
From 2004 - 2023, Erika has participated in an annual Rural Leader’s Retreat with fellow rural-ites. From those connections, ,we’ve built a better Kansas, launched a PowerUp movement activating 20 - 30-year old Kansas in the active shaping of our towns, and fostered a mutual support network of do-ers across the State. In 2024, Erika served as one of the Lucas coordinators for the Big Kansas Road Trip, a 3-day celebration of our specific place in the Kansas ecosystem.
